MoH Decision 237 of 2026 takes effect: age 21 with ID verification, mandatory product registration, a ban on packaging that appeals to children, health warnings covering 50% of the pack face, a ban on advertising and promotion, and no sales within 200 metres of schools.

The practical rule: follow the venue’s own signage and the rules applied to tobacco generally. Malls, restaurants, government facilities and the airport each publish their own instructions, and those are the reference on their premises.
